X-Ray Technician

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks)

Job Description

• Perform imaging and treatment processes following state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and proper functioning.
• Assess patient comfort (physical and physiological) during procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and necessary revisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the specialty overall.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment.
• Comfortable working in the Operating Room (OR) environment.
• Ability to work independently in a large facility setting (900 beds).
• Demonstrated knowledge of various imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practice trends, healthcare informatics, and new hardware/software innovations.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (oral and written).
