Schedule

  • Days
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • CVICU (1 year of experience)
  • CVICU experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year of minimum recent CSICU experience
  • Experience with Epic

Education

  • Nursing Diploma, or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care in a hospital setting using the nursing process
  • Assess patients, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
  • Deliver care for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
  • Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and support continuity of care
  • Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and professional development activities
