Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC or TNS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Overview

• Experienced emergency room RN position
• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process
• Administers medications and treatments according to approved nursing practice and state law
• Documents care according to standards
• Performs assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Develops and carries out individualized patient care plans
• Participates in performance improvement, shared governance, unit practice activities, and peer review
• Supports other units with clinical expertise and escalates patient safety or experience concerns appropriately
