Medical Surgical Nurse

Overview

Location: Kingsport, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week; every other weekend
Contract length: 13 weeks
Call: No call
Floating: Required
Patient ratio: 1:7

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

16 hours of nonbillable orientation
General orientation begins on Sundays and includes online CBLs
Candidate may be canceled or called off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed based on census or resource needs
Participation in nursing student support and clinical education is expected alongside clinical care
