Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45–19:15
36 hours per week
Ratios: 1:5
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-timers accepted
Float pool position; no home unit
Will float between about 5 units across Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU departments and to other Metro campuses as needed
Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit
Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period, with a combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday
No on-call
No block schedule accommodation
No locals; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
No pending license accepted
RTO limit: no more than 7 days
Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, and Neuro Stepdown experience
Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring on the unit
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath experience
Experience with sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, and COVID
12 lead EKG
