PT Outpatient

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Adrian, Michigan
• Outpatient clinic setting
• Day shift, 5x8 hours
• Monday-Friday schedule
• No call or weekends
• Float to Onstead required
• Average daily census: 10
• Staffing ratio: 1:1
• Patient age groups: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Patient diagnosis focus: General ortho and neuro
• Specialty/patient population: Neurology, Ortho
• Unit accepts first-time traveler
• Dress code: Business casual
• Free parking

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Michigan
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience with Epic

Responsibilities / Clinical Skills

• Assessments: AROM/AAROM/PROM, assistive devices, pain assessment, strength testing
• Documentation: assessment, discharge, evaluation, long term goals, plan of care, reassessments, short term goals, time management
• Professional skills: home exercise program, patient family education
• Documentation systems used: WellSky, Epic
• Communication system: SBAR
• Provider support: Unit Secretary

Schedule

• 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 3x per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
