Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN in New Haven, Connecticut.
13-week assignment.
3x12 mids.
Assigned to one campus, with possible rotation to other campuses and ED observation.
Will cross-train and float to other campuses and ED observation.
Ratios: average 1:6 days, average 1:6 nights.
Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience preferred.

Schedule / Assignment Details

Open to accommodating block schedule.
On-call not required.
Guaranteed hours.
RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.

Additional Notes

Travelers do not get trauma/rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units.
Charting: Epic.
Parking cost: $125/month.
