Registered Nurse - Radiology (Travel Assignment)
Location
- Lafayette, Indiana
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- On-call rotation with 5 other RNs for weekend shifts
Unit Information
- Interventional Radiology, ground floor
- 225 beds in the facility
- Patient-to-RN ratio: 1:1
- Patients require invasive radiology procedures
- Equipment includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, Philips EPIQ ultrasound machine
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
Job Responsibilities
- Perform conscious sedation under direct supervision of a radiologist
- Monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures
- Work collaboratively with technologists and other RNs in a group setting
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
- Radiology experience
- ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Additional Information
- Orientation and computer-based training provided before clinical work
- Dress code: light blue surgery scrubs supplied by the facility (scrub machine available)
- Reporting location: park at north entrance; radiology is the first department encountered on the ground floor
