Position: Radiation Therapist
Specialty: Radiation Oncology

Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatric, behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
Located in the San Juan River Valley, northwest New Mexico
Area offers outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, off-roading, and access to multiple national parks and lakes
Approximately 1 hour from Durango, CO, and 3 hours from Albuquerque, NM

Pros

Unit is comprised of many travelers. Core staff and travelers have all been fantastic! The unit is set up quite well to manage the surges of patients. It is the only main hospital around so it can definitely provide good experience. Most of the providers I've encountered over the last couple months actually listen to the nurses and are easy to work with.

Cons

It is definitely busy before the size of the town. I can't say I have any other cons.
