Overview

• Travel RN assignment in Lebanon, Kentucky
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Level 1 NBN
• Unit: L & D
• 1 opening
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours: 24, every other / as needed
• Call: rotate call during low census
• Float scope: task on other units during high volume when census is low on L&D
• 9-bed unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• NRP
• STABLE
• Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
• Primary L&D nurse on nights - independent
• Post-partum and Level 1 Newborn nursery experience

Preferred

• Post-partum experience
• Level 1 Newborn nursery experience

Additional Role Details

• Primary L&D nurse on nights; independent
• Patient population: Obstetric, Gynecology and Newborn
• Common diagnoses/treatments: Labor and Delivery, Antepartum and Postpartum
• Orientation is weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel
• Scrub color: any color, professional attire
• Unacceptable attire: T-shirts other than nursing related themes, blue jeans, casual wear
