Overview
- Travel RN position in Hickory, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 1 opening
- Start dates are limited to the orientation schedule listed in the source
- Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel
Schedule
- Weekend coverage rotates every other weekend
- Call may require adjusted hours depending on census
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS or ENPC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Cerner
Unit Details
- Emergency Department
- 32 beds
- Patient ratio is 1:4 to 1:5
- Receives all trauma cases
- Uses critical care equipment
Preferred Experience
- Fast-paced emergency department experience
- Experience with strokes, STEMI, and trauma
Work Environment
- Fast-paced setting
- Patient population ranges from birth to death
- Float support may be needed in areas where competencies are held
Additional Notes
- Scrubs may be any color at this time
- Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and inappropriate T-shirts
