Respiratory Therapist

Job Overview

Employment type: Travel
Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start timing: Must be able to start 7–10 days after offer acceptance
Float requirement: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients

Onboarding Requirements

Iowa SING background check must clear, including criminal and child abuse portions
All county and state background checks must be fully cleared before start
Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult
10-panel drug screen including opiates

Patient Population

Adults
Geriatrics
Possible micro-premies to hospice

Additional Notes

Monday or Tuesday starts allowed
Housing options are available at additional cost
