Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Pre/Post Cath Lab experience

Preferred Experience

  • Electrophysiology experience

Unit Details

  • Cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms
  • Team-based procedural care with 3 staff members per patient procedure
  • Procedures include left and right heart caths, pacemaker/ICD, Watchman, IR procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations

Schedule

  • One full weekend plus 2 weekdays per four-week schedule, for a total of 10 shifts

Work Environment

  • Floating may include the Pre/Post Cath Department
  • Team-oriented and flexible candidates are preferred
  • Uses Phillips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
  • Documentation systems include MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse
