Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

Virginia, Fredericksburg

Employment Type

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

36 hours per week
3 shifts per week, each 12 hours
Includes every other weekend

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory
Number of beds: 140
Patient population: Adults and NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Equipment used: Hamilton C1, V60, Hamilton MR1 ventilators
Documentation system: Meditech
Dress code: All black scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
NBRC certification
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
Experience working with adult patients
Proficient with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP

Skills and Experience

Proficient with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilator
Experience working with adult and neonatal patients

Additional Information

Preferred certifications (if not currently held) can be obtained after hire
Exposure to advanced respiratory care technology and equipment
Opportunity to work in a well-equipped respiratory unit with experienced staff
