Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Festus, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8 (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: 10-15 days per month (weekdays, weekends, holidays)
Call Proximity: Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital

Job Description

Provide support in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting providers with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and peripheral procedures.
Operate cath lab equipment such as IABP, Impella, Penumbra, and CSI.
Run the procedure table and move the C-Arm during cases.
Perform sheath removal and maintain hemostasis.
Ability to multitask effectively in high-stress situations.
Participate in on-call rotation as specified.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist.
Recent Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred.
Experience or certification in Critical Care is a plus.
Preferred certification in Cardiovascular and Interventional Technology.

Dress Code

Scrubs provided by the hospital.
No attire other than the provided scrubs is acceptable.
