Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
Patient population includes cardiac patients requiring telemetry and post-op cath care
Common diagnoses: Stroke, congestive heart failure (CHF), atrial fibrillation (A-fib), arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents, and medical-surgical cases
Equipment used: Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable Hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitors, defibrillators (x2 for transport), EKG machine
Electronic Health Records: Omnicell, EPIC

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit, with experience within the last year
Cardiology experience
Telemetry experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
