Shift Details

• 3x12 hour night shifts (1900-0730)
• Weekends required: 7 weekends in 8 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Collect and assess health data to evaluate patient status
• Provide health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive of patient well-being
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May float to other departments within scope of competency
• May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in ICU or related specialty
• Valid RN license (Single State or Compact RN License)
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
