Job Overview

Location: Brooklyn, New York
Schedule: Days with possible weekends, 5x8
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Critical Care Float (1 year of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Trach and Vent experience
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Preferred Experience

2 years of experience
Trach and vent experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in nursing preferred

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Prolonged standing, reaching, and walking during the workday
Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift/carry items up to 10 pounds routinely
May need to lift up to 100 pounds to assist with patient movement
Possible exposure to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards, and chemical hazards

Additional Notes

Uses electronic record systems and other healthcare and billing systems relevant to the position
Responsibilities include direct patient care, care coordination, supervision of other nursing staff, participation in quality improvement, and support of staff orientation and education
