Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Springfield, Illinois
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
36 hours per week
Average daily census: 22 patients
Acute care hospital; Level I trauma center; Magnet facility
Charting system: Cerner
Scrub color: Any solid color

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response skills/experience
Rapid Response Teams experience
Colostomy Care
Feeding tube care and management
Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
Renal failure experience
Blood Product Administration
Central line blood draw
Peripheral Line Care/Management
PICC line management

Schedule / Work Expectations

Every other weekend required
No on-call requirement
Schedule requests may be discussed with the manager
Requested time off ideally no more than 5 days
