Job Overview

Travel/contract ICU RN position in Glen Burnie, Maryland
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 20:00–08:30
36 hours per week
Start date: 09/28/26 or ASAP
Contract length: 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Work Conditions

Every third weekend required
Holidays required as scheduled
Floating required within the specialty and to lower-acuity areas as needed
No pre-scheduled on-call

Clinical Setting

Adult to geriatric patients
Typical ICU diagnoses include sepsis, pneumonia, MSOF, surgical, neuro, CVA, cardiac/pulmonary, and renal cases
Common procedures include bronchoscopy, PUG, and tracheostomy care
Typical patient ratio is 1:2, with up to 3 for lower-acuity patients

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Navy blue scrubs required
