Job Description
- Provide nursing care on Med/Surg Telemetry unit with potential to float to related units including ED.
- Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (day shift: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm; night shift: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am).
- Shifts may rotate to meet operational needs; facility will attempt to honor preferred shifts.
- Must work at least every other holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Current certifications:
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Orientation & Onboarding
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome).
- Modules include safety, medication, and ECG competency exams.
- Photo for badge required.
- Must complete all onboarding steps before clearance to start.
Additional Notes
- Candidates with gaps longer than 6 months since last assignment at this facility may need to retake orientation modules and competency exams.
- Candidates must carry a government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
- Employment application must include at least 3 years prior work history with 2 years in acute care and similar clinical area.
- Must be able to submit hours worked through designated system.
