Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Location: Gaffney, South Carolina
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Position is for Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with potential float to main campus or other units within the resource float pool.
• RN will be scheduled in advance to either Cherokee Medical Center or main campus.
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Weekend shifts required as needed.
• On-call requirement: either 2 on-call shifts or 2 additional shifts every 6 weeks, including holiday coverage.
• Block scheduling is not accommodated.
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
• Guaranteed hours based on signed contract.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
