Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Edmonds, Washington
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
Unit Details
- Level II NICU admissions / Normal Newborn
- Cares for infants 32 weeks or greater
- Attends vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Supports CPAP/BiPap, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps
- Attends all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
- Float required as needed
- NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they already have the skill/competencies
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Notes
- All previous perm employees of any affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify for a travel position
- All facilities honor active compact license
