Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Chicago, Illinois
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
- No weekends or holidays
- Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- 2 professional references, including 1 from a direct supervisor
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Employment application
- Criminal background check within 6 months of start, including:
- 7-year search
- all alias searches
- county searches
- national sex offender search
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
- State license verification within 30 days of start
- 14-plate Ishihara color blind exam
- Unit-specific competency exam within 3 years of start, then every 3 years
- Core Part I, Core Part II, Core Part III, and OSHA Mandatory training annually
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable by profession
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire annually
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
- Badge photo submitted 2 weeks before start
- Signed fingernail policy

- Online training modules before orientation
