Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Midland, Texas
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 6–8 days of call per month, including weekends

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Endoscopy (1 year of experience)
• Endoscopy experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Must have experience assisting with Sclerotherapy procedures
• Must have experience assisting with TEE (transesophageal echocardiography) procedures
• Must have experience assisting with Endoscopic ultrasound procedures
• Must have experience assisting with ERCP procedures
• Must have experience assisting with esophageal ballooning procedures

Licenses and Certifications

• State license verification required within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• Physical Exam required within 1 year of start
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
• Rubeola (Measles)
• Mumps
• Rubella
• Hepatitis B
• Varicella
• Drug Testing
• Flu vaccination or agency declination required October 1 - March 31

Experience and References

• 2 references required within 3 years of start
• Skills checklist required and updated annually

• EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start

• Transcript/diploma required for Cath Lab, CVOR, and L&D RN
• Education verification required for candidates working in the cath lab and CVOR
