Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Conyers, Georgia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Weekly hours: 36
• Contract length: 12 weeks

Unit Details

• Common patient diagnoses include hypertension, diabetes, congestive heart failure, end stage renal disease, coronary artery disease, abdominal pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, pulmonary embolism, COPD, and behavioral health.
• Weekend coverage: every other weekend
• Call: none
• Floating: within facility/scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance and Scheduling Expectations

• Maximum requested time off: 7 days
• Blackout dates: 4/5/2026 to 4/11/2026
• Full compliance is required to start on time
• One major holiday may be required during the assignment; if multiple major holidays fall within the assignment, additional holiday coverage may be required

Documentation and Screening

• Photo ID
• Background check completed before start
• Education verification
• Work history verification
• 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist within 12 months
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screen within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccination or declination
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or documentation as specified by the facility

• Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length
