Pediatric Stepdown Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Pediatric Stepdown unit nursing position
Average nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
Weekend work required every other weekend
Floating to other units may be required
Guaranteed hours

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Stepdown nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
