Schedule
- 2 night shifts, 7p–7a
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Education
- Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
Role Summary
- Provides independent nursing care to acutely ill patients
- Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Coordinates care with nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Responds to rapidly changing patient conditions and activates emergency protocols when needed
- Follows infection control, medication administration, controlled substance, and hospital policy standards
- Participates in staff meetings, professional governance, and nursing education activities
