Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Education

Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelor’s or associate degree preferred

Role Summary

Provides independent nursing care to acutely ill patients
Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
Coordinates care with nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, patients, families, and the healthcare team
Responds to rapidly changing patient conditions and activates emergency protocols when needed
Follows infection control, medication administration, controlled substance, and hospital policy standards
Participates in staff meetings, professional governance, and nursing education activities
