Location

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 or more years of total travel experience
• BLS
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advance Provider or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Some computer skills

Role Summary

• Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with a range of health problems
• Responsible for an assigned group of patients
• Documents patient responses and changes in physician orders
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
• Monitors patient physiological data and intervenes when necessary
• Administers medication and manages intravenous infusions and blood products
• Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families
• Makes referrals for patient care needs and delegates tasks to support staff
