Overview

Role: MedSurg/Tele RN
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nursing experience
BSN

Job Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admission/transfer/discharge activities, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning
Performs comprehensive assessments, documents findings, identifies patient needs and risk factors, and responds to changes in patient condition
Delegates and oversees patient care tasks, supports discharge teaching, and participates in unit-based quality improvement activities
