Cardiac Cath/EP Technologist - Janesville, WI

Job Type

Contract
Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
One to two weeknights of call per week
Every fourth weekend on call

Job Description

Work in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure procedures
Verify sterile supply package integrity and expiration dates
Prepare patients and equipment using sterile technique
Monitor and record procedural data and maintain event logs
Provide patient comfort and familiarize patients with equipment and supplies
Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites with sterile drapes
Use sterile and aseptic techniques when scrubbing into procedures
Advocate for radiation safety; wear personal radiation dosimeter and minimize exposure
Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses; evaluate safety reports

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Wisconsin
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Cardiovascular Technologist certification or experience
Radiology Technologist experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
