ICU Registered Nurse (All Shifts) – Arizona, Tuba City

Position Type

• Contract
• Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Setting

• Primarily assigned to a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• May float to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatrics units as needed
• Provides nursing care to critically ill patients of all ages, including post-op recovery for general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients after hours
• Shared contractor housing provided (no pets or family allowed)

Location & Community

• Located in a culturally diverse, semi-desert region on the Colorado Plateau
• Serves a large rural area including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute Native American tribes

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Licensure

• Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona

Certifications (must be maintained throughout employment)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions held every 2 weeks
• COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
