Job info

Registered Nurse (ICU) - Night Shift

Location: DeRidder, Louisiana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Details

  • Work in a 16-bed ICU unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:16
  • Schedule: 7 nights on, 7 nights off

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • Minimum of 4 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Must be from a Joint Commission Accredited staffing agency on the Louisiana Department of Health Nurse Staffing Agencies List
  • Travel nurses permanently residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

Additional Information

  • No prior travel experience explicitly required
  • Specialty experience requirement: 4 years in nursing
