Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Hood River, Oregon
- 26-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- Float between units
- Every other weekend required
- On-call not required
- Block scheduling not required
- 48 hours not approved
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS
- BLS
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- Driver's License
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Med Surg experience
- 1st timers OK
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS
- TNCC
Unit Details
- ICU / MS float RN
- Expected ratios: 1:1–2 in ICU; 1:4–5 when floating to med surg
- Common float scope includes other units based on skill set
- Facility type: Critical Access / Level III Trauma Center
- Total staffed beds: 25
- Teaching hospital
Additional Notes
- If floating consecutive shifts, a hotel may be offered
- Scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child
- Charting system: Epic
- Parking is free
