Position Details

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Oakland, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 19:00 - 7:30)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Weekend work required every other weekend and as needed by the unit.
On-call duties as needed.
May float to other units or campuses within scope of practice, with approximately 1.5 hours notice before shift start.
Shuttle transportation provided if floating to different campuses.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
At least 6 months of total travel nursing experience.
Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
