Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU (Travel/Contract)

Location

  • Charlottesville, Virginia

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift Details

  • Night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
  • 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday off
  • Unit uses a self-scheduling model; manager will explain scheduling during call but cannot guarantee preferred schedule

Work Environment

  • Children's hospital setting
  • Unit includes Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) and preference for experience in Cardiac Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
  • Level 4 NICU experience
  • Experience working with neonate patients
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
