Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU (Travel/Contract)

Location

Charlottesville, Virginia

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift Details

Night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
Every other weekend and every other holiday off
Unit uses a self-scheduling model; manager will explain scheduling during call but cannot guarantee preferred schedule

Work Environment

Children's hospital setting
Unit includes Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) and preference for experience in Cardiac Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Required Qualifications

Certified Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
Level 4 NICU experience
Experience working with neonate patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
