Job Opportunity: Mammographer

Location

• Salem, Massachusetts

Employment Type

• Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Shifts may vary weekly between 8, 10, or 12 hours, totaling 36-40 hours per week
• Coverage includes Salem Hospital and various offsite locations within a 10-mile radius
• Saturday shifts available (8:00 AM–12:00 PM or 7:45 AM–11:45 AM)
• Flexibility and willingness to work independently required

Job Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Coverage at multiple locations during hours of 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Experience with stereotactic biopsies preferred but not mandatory
• Ratio of technician to machine is 1:1

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Massachusetts
• Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) only (no Red Cross accepted for this location)
