Respiratory Care Practitioner

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Role Summary

  • Provides respiratory therapy services across appropriate age levels under general supervision
  • Administers prescribed therapeutic treatments
  • Performs invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and patient monitoring
  • Supports cardiac and respiratory arrest response
  • Maintains respiratory equipment and records
  • Documents treatment information and patient response in the computerized medical record

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
  • Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner experience

Preferred Experience

  • 2 years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred
  • Previous work in a children’s-only hospital preferred

Additional Notes

  • Some computer skills are needed
  • Must be able to work under stress and communicate well with coworkers and staff
