Ultrasound Sonographer

Location: Albert Lea, Minnesota
Employment Type: Contingent Labor
Contract Length: 16 weeks (114 days ≈ 16 weeks)
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Weekday on-call approximately 2 times per month (5:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend on-call approximately once every other month (5:00 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday)

Job Summary

• Produce high-quality ultrasound images for physician interpretation, meeting established radiology standards.
• Demonstrate competence with various imaging equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients.
• Foster teamwork through effective communication.
• Ensure high-level patient service via proper communication, technique, and safety.
• Maintain flexibility to staff different locations, shifts, and shift lengths.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient and optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Organized, efficient, and able to multitask.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to on-call pager (including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an Ultrasound Sonographer.
