Location

Job Summary
- Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength.
- Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
- Communicate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.
- Participate in business marketing and referral processes as needed.
- Follow HIPAA policies and procedures to protect patient privacy.
- Comply with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
Work Environment
- Outpatient physical therapy clinic/rehabilitation setting.
- Requires physical mobility including sitting, walking, standing for 8-10 hour days.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility and transfers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California.
- Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year.
- Experience in supervisory roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Continuing education courses in Physical Therapy.
Physical Demands
- Frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving.
- Ability to push wheelchairs and support patient safety continuously.
