Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment

Overview

• Location: Rockport, Maine
• Setting: Hospital-based respiratory therapy
• Employment type: Travel
• Shift: Days with some night shifts required
• Weekly hours: 36

Schedule

• Most shifts are 8a–8p
• At least one 7p–7a shift per week is needed
• For approximately 2 weeks, more than one night shift per week will be needed
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Work holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP

Job Duties / Expectations

• Must be able to work independently as needed
• May need to float to another hospital as needed

Patient Population

• Adult
• Pediatric
• Newborns in the birthing center

Work Environment

• Respiratory therapy unit on the first floor
• Open to any scrub color
• Not allowed: Open-toe shoes or hats

Contract Length

• 10 weeks
