Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

• Familiar with post-operative patients
• Competent with dressing changes, wound care, and drain management

Unit Details

• Medical-surgical unit
• 36 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Uses Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs

Typical Responsibilities

• Care for post-operative patients
• Maintain drains
• Perform wound care

Work Environment

• Fast-paced setting
• Team-oriented, positive attitude, and strong patient advocacy are valued

Dress Code

• Navy blue or white scrubs
• No hoodies, pull-overs, or T-shirts
