Job Overview

  • Location: Lewiston, Maine

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maine
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC

Work Environment

  • Level II trauma center
  • 1:4 patient ratio
  • Must float to ED Holding
  • No call requirement
  • No guaranteed weekends off

Key Experience Needed

  • Non-trauma emergency department experience
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • Experience with ventilated patients
  • Triage experience

Patient Population

  • Pediatrics through geriatrics

Additional Notes

  • 4 critical care bays
  • Teleneurology support for stroke care
  • No PICU; patients are transferred out
