Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Afternoons)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois Employment Type: Temp Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Afternoons, 12 hours per day

Unit Information

• Cases per day: 15-20
• Scrubs: grey tops and bottoms, solids
• Orientation dates: 11/23, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14
• Float across campuses in Rock Island, Moline, Bettendorf, and Muscatine when needed or scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
• Minimum 0.5 years of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certificate
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross)
• Driver's license
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment (e.g., Siemens Somatom, Siemens Go)
• Experience with Epic

Additional Details

• First-time travelers welcome
• Iowa radiology license can be applied for at time of offer acceptance, with a 1-3 week turnaround
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license); local candidates are not eligible
• Past employees (FTE or PRN float pool) cannot work travel in another market for 12 months after their last shift there, unless they previously worked travel at this health system (the separation policy does not apply to prior travel assignments)
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed. The posting lists summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) in one place and winter holidays in another.
