Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Aurora, Colorado
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
12-hour day and night rotation
On-call: No
Weekend requirement: Yes, per unit needs
Floating: Required; may also float to sister facilities in the metro region as needed
Scrub color: Navy
Patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Clinical Focus

Neuro ICU
High-acuity, fast-paced surgical ICU
24-bed neurosurgical ICU
Comprehensive Stroke Center
Level I Trauma Center

Key Skills / Experience

Hourly neurological assessments
Intracranial pressure management
External ventricular drain management
Subarachnoid hemorrhage management
Post-thrombectomy management
Post-craniotomy management, including post brain tumor resection
