MS/Tele Float Pool Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Day shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00AM - 7:30PM
- 36 hours per week
- Float pool assignment with flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Availability needed on weekdays, some weekends, and holidays
- Patient ratio: 1:4-5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- IV insertion skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
Additional Notes
- Unit-specific competency exam required
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Emergency Contact Form required for all candidates
- Background check, fingerprinting, and other facility compliance documents are required before start
