Job Overview

• Location: Monroe, Michigan
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Flexible day shift; either 4x10s or 5x8s
• Weekend requirement: No weekends
• Patient volume: 9 visits per day
• Patient age groups: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents
• Work setting: Pediatric outpatient

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist license in Michigan
• Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
• Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting

Clinical Focus

• Pediatric cases include autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders
• Required patient safety knowledge includes signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
• Patient/family education is required
• Documentation includes assessment, discharge, evaluation, Medicaid, plan of care, reassessments, and SLP evaluation coding

• Documentation system: Wellsky/Epic
• Support available: Interpretation services, physical therapy, unit secretary

• Black scrubs required
