Registered Nurse - ER

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Rochester, New York
• 13-week assignment
• Adult emergency department
• Day or night 12-hour shifts available
• 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday availability required if needed
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must float within skillset

Required Qualifications

• Active New York single-state RN license; pending license not accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC experience required
• IV therapy, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, triage, isolation precautions, and emergency care experience
• Experience with CVA/stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI, and pediatric spinal cord injury
• Government-issued photo ID required

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Shift options: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Requests for time off or special scheduling must be submitted with the application
• Client may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract without charges
• Scrub color: navy blue and white

Clinical Setting

• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Typical ratio: 1:5
• Floating required within skillset
• Special equipment includes Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
