Overview

• Specialty: Operating Room Registered Nurse

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Level I trauma center, teaching facility, Magnet hospital

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 3x12s, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
• On-call: Up to 4 call shifts per month
• Weekend requirement: Up to 1 working weekend shift every 4 weeks
• Holiday requirement: Must work at least one holiday period
• Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units/sister facilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Additional Requirements

• Radiation badge required
• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Complete application/resume
• Annual background check and required compliance screenings
• Annual work history verification for clinical employers
• South Carolina state exclusion list clearance
• Fit testing before start and annually
• Physical exam
• Drug screen within 90 days of start
• TB screening within 90 days of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
• Immunization documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• COVID vaccination documentation preferred; declination accepted if not vaccinated
• Orientation modules and facility-specific onboarding documents before start

• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season.
• Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval.
